Amendment of Standing Order 82: Motion.

Mr. Manning: I move:

That, with effect from 9th July, 1996, until further notice in the 27th Seanad, Standing Order 82 of the Standing Orders of Seanad Éireann relative to Public Business be amended by the substitution of the following subsection for subsection (3):

“(3) Each group shall have the right to nominate a Senator of the group to present a Bill provided that there is not before the Seanad three Bills presented by Senators nominated by that group.”
