LIAM DE ROISTE (Cork City) to the FINANCE MINISTER: “Is the money subscribed to the Loan in America to be first sent to Ireland before any of it is spent?”

FINANCE MINISTER FINANCE MINISTER

The FINANCE MINISTER, replying, stated that the proceeds of the Loan would be forwarded to Ireland. That did not mean that the money would be sent to Ireland in bulk. Monies spent on services outside Ireland would be spent only under the direction of the various Ministers responsible.
