Written Answers. - School Accommodation.

Deputy Brian Hayes asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of schools in the country that have two storey prefab classrooms on their school campus; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22755/08]

Deputy Batt O’Keeffe: The information sought by the Deputy is not readily available in my Department. In general the vast majority of prefabricated accommodation in schools is single storey. However, in certain circumstances, such as in the case where the site occupied by the school is of restricted size, it may be preferable to provide a two storey unit.
