Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

Deputy Pádraic McCormack asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the situation as regards the provision of a sewerage scheme for Clifden, County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17270/08]

  Deputy John Gormley: The Clifden Sewerage Improvement Scheme is included in my Department’s Water Services Investment Programme 2007-2009 as a scheme to start construction in 2009.

Galway County Council’s Design Review Report for the scheme is being examined in my Department and is being dealt with as quickly as possible.
