I refer to the reply to Questions Nos. 573 and 574 of 4 December 2007. As already outlined in that reply the Ethics Registrar in the relevant local authority is responsible for overseeing the application of the ethics framework and taking any necessary action in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Local Government Act, 2001.
