[20006/07] Deputy Brian Lenihan Deputy Brian Lenihan Deputy Brian Lenihan:I am informed by the Director General of the Irish Prison Service that no persons in St. Patrick’s Institution are detained in their cells 23 hours a day. All persons detained there get a minimum of 2 hours exercise per day and leave their cells for various other activities throughout the day. 573 There is a wide range of activities available to young offenders in St. Patrick’s Institution including Education, Work/Training, the Library and a fully fitted out gymnasium.
