[39388/06] Mr. N. Dempsey Mr. N. Dempsey Mr. N. Dempsey: My Department appointed a consultant, Radon Ireland, to undertake inspection and monitoring for radon levels in each of our buildings. A total of 121 units were placed in various offices for the detection of radon. None of the offices tested exceeded the accepted safe annual average level of 400 Bq/m 3 for radon in the workplace.
