Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person’s (details supplied) employment in Dublin 17 was terminated; and the action she will take regarding management problems at this centre. [28456/06]

Ms Harney: Since the unit referred to by the Deputy is operated by a private health care provider, I have no function in relation to employment relations issues arising at the unit. If the Deputy has any concerns about the quality of care provided at the unit, then he might raise these directly with the Health Service Executive, which is the statutory registering authority for private nursing homes.
