Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if competing potential service providers have been impeded in their proposals to provide broadband or other forms of modern telecommunications; his plans to address this issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. ComReg is independent in the exercise of its functions, in accordance with the provisions of the Communications Regulations Act 2002 and the transposed EU Regulatory Framework.
