 An Ceann Comhairle: I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Seán Ryan — the urgent need for a post-primary school in Donabate, Dublin; (2) Deputy Durkan — the needless hardship caused to applicants for rent support in north Kildare by the application of the cuts imposed in the 2004 budget (details supplied); (3) Deputy Neville — the official report into the treatment of a two year old girl at Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin, in June-July 2003; (4) Deputy Crowe — the crisis faced by the family of a person (details supplied) receiving care in St. James’s Hospital after being assaulted in Dublin’s Temple Bar area and left in a coma; (5) Deputy Ó Snodaigh — that the Minister explain the reason no drug treatment is available for heroin addicts under 16; (6) Deputy Gogarty — the need to review school bus boundaries and catchment areas nationwide and provide a service for suburban areas; (7) Deputy Upton — the Minister’s views on proposed reforms to address the problem of children under 16 being induced into singing contracts for services; (8) Deputy Shortall — the case of a person (details supplied) who has had an operation cancelled by Beaumont Hospital on five separate occasions since July 2004; and (9) Deputy Ó Caoláin — that the Minister deliver on the promised essential funding and staffing at St. Mary’s residential care facility in, Drumcar, County Louth.
The matters raised by Deputies Neville, Ó Caoláin and Seán Ryan have been selected for discussion.
