325. Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his Department has received an application for a visitors visa from a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath; if same will be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [26750/04]

Mr. McDowell: My Department has no record of a visa application from the person named in the details supplied by the Deputy. The Deputy should forward the reference number of the visa application in question to the immigration division of my Department in order to enable a check on the status of the application in question.
