143. Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Finance when a decision will be made regarding the transfer location of civil servants working in ICT in the Department of Social and Family Affairs; [499] and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19394/04]

Mr. McCreevy:A decision on the decentralised locations for ICT staff in the Department of Social and Family Affairs will be made by the Government as soon as possible. The decision will take full account of the conclusions outlined in paragraph 5.19 to 5.22 of the report of the decentralisation implementation group, dated 31 March 2004.
