Mr. Callely:The Deputy is aware that the provision of health services in the Kildare area is, in the first instance, the responsibility of the South Western Area Health Board, acting under the aegis of the Eastern Regional Health Authority. The Department of Health and Children has asked the chief executive officer of [1366] the board to investigate the matter and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
