Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the progress which has been made regarding the creation under the local government fund of a community facilities fund which will support the development of community facilities not covered by existing schemes; and if he will make a statement on the matter.   Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government (Mr. Cullen): Funding from the local government fund has been allocated towards three community centres located in areas designated under the RAPID programme. The availability of funding for further community facilities will be considered following determination and notification to local authorities of their 2004 general purpose and non-national grants from the local government fund.
