Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a home help has not been provided in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny in view of the fact that this offer from the South Eastern Health Board was made in December 2001; if correspondence from this person and their general practitioner to the South Eastern Health Board will be acknowledged and acted upon; the other supports which are available to this person from his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter.   Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): Responsibility for the provision of home help services to eligible persons in County Kilkenny rests [601] with the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
