[580] 227. Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science the additional facilities required at Scoil Mochua, Celbridge, County Kildare, as requested in the application for grant aid; and if the architectural planning for the project is complete. [21884/02]

Minister for Education and Science (Mr. N. Dempsey): Architectural planning for a building project at Scoil Mochua, Celbridge, is at an advanced stage. Decisions on projects proceeding to tender and construction in 2003 will be taken in the light of the annual allocation for the primary school building programme at the completion of the 2003 Estimates process, taking into account the contractual commitments on projects approved and the priority to be afforded to individual projects.
