Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue): I propose to take Questions Nos. 70, 105, 127, 130 and 191 together.

I am currently pursuing inquiries in consultation with the Attorney General and the Commissioner of the Garda Síochána into the matters raised by the RTE “Prime Time” programme relating to what was referred to as the “doctoring” of a witness statement and I expect to be in a position to finalise my report shortly and to report back to the House as quickly as possible thereafter.

The House will appreciate that, until such time as these inquiries are completed, it would be inappropriate for me to make any further comment on the matter.
