Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the steps she will take to relieve the flooding at Clara Castle, Clare, County Kilkenny; if a programme of works has been agreed to protect the castle; [475] and, if so, when work will commence in this regard. [5255/01] Miss de Valera Miss de Valera Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands (Miss de Valera): The works required to alleviate the flooding at Clara Castle, County Kilkenny, will involve placing a culvert under the access path to link to drainage provided by the county council.
