Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Education and Science if all matters relating to staffing have been negotiated with regard to the amalgamation of Thomastown convent primary school and Ladyswell boys national school, Thomastown, County Kilkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods): The position is that discussions are ongoing between representatives of the Irish National Teachers' Organisation and the staff of one of the schools in question. The outcome of these discussions is expected shortly.
