Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Health and Children the position regarding the second phase of the development of the Incorporated Orthopaedic Hospital of Ireland, Clontarf, Dublin 3, in view of the fact that the national development plan has been published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Cowen): As the Deputy is aware the national development plan has recently been published and will form the basis for all future health care capital projects in this country. The proposal to proceed with the second phase of the development at the Incorporated Orthopaedic Hospital, Clontarf is still under active consideration by my Department.
