Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to the application for permanent recognition for Gaelscoil Uí Fhiaich, Maynooth, County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16830/99] Mr. Martin Mr. Martin 751 Minister for Education and Science (Mr. Martin): An application for permanent recognition for Gaelscoil Uí Fhiaich, Maynooth, County Kildare, was recently received in the planning section of my Department. As with all such applications, the local inspector has been asked for a report on the schools progress and development. [751] When this report has been received and considered, a decision in the matter will be made.
