Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Health and Children his views on whether young children should suffer as a result of their parents being in breach of local authority housing regulations; and if he will have investigations made into a specific case (details supplied) in County Waterford. Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children (Mr. Fahey): The provision of child care and family support services to persons in County Waterford is a matter for the South-Eastern Health Board. I have arranged to have the details of the case referred to by the Deputy passed on to the chief executive of the board and he has been asked to reply directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.
