Minister for Justice (Mrs. Owen): I am informed by the Registrar of titles that this dealing refers to an application under section 49 (i.e. acquisition of title by virtue of long possession) [380] of the Registration of Title Act, 1964 which was lodged on 22 September 1994. The latest queries were issued to the lodging solicitor on 19 December 1996 and replies are awaited. The matter cannot proceed until the queries raised are satisfactorily discharged and it is, therefore, not possible to estimate a completion time at this stage.
