94. Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment the amount realised in financial terms from driving test applications in 1994; the number of driving tests which were carried out; and the pass rate resulting from these tests. [12868/95]

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Howlin): Income from driving test fees in 1994 totalled £3,414,000. A total of 89,383 driving tests were carried out resulting in an overall pass rate of 53.6 per cent.
