78. Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for Justice the present position in relation to the provision of a new Garda station (details supplied) in County Mayo. [2865/95]

Minister for Justice (Mrs. Owen): It is proposed to build a new Garda station [1786] on a new site at Keel, Achill, County Mayo.

It is not possible at this stage to say precisely when work on the new station will commence.
