152. Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if a school (details supplied) is included in the disadvantaged schools' scheme; and the level of capitation grants they will receive.

Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): The school referred to by the Deputy is included in the disadvantaged areas scheme and as such has been allocated two additional concessionary teaching posts and receives capitation funding at a rate of £55 per pupil.

The capitation rate in this case incorporates a special additional allocation of £17 per pupil, comprised as follows: £10 per pupil in respect of supplementary capitation; £5 per pupil in respect of materials/equipment; £2 per pupil in respect of home school community liaison.
