151. Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if the review of primary education in the Dublin 1 area has been completed; and if she will give details of any recommendation regarding the future of the Rutland Street national school.

[958] Minister for Education (Ms Bhreathnach): The position regarding primary school education in the Dublin 1 area has been examined carefully in my Department. There are no proposals at present to close the Rutland Street school. The position will be kept under review in the light of enrolment trends in the area.
