173. Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Health the amount of funding, if any, he intends to provide to enable the Health (Nursing Homes) Act, 1990, to be implemented.

Minister for Health (Mr. Howlin): I am pleased to inform the Deputy that £4 million has been made available this year for the phased implementation of the Health (Nursing Homes) Act, 1990.
