172. Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health if he will give details of the total number of staff, either full-time or part-time, working (a) in his private ministerial office (b) in his constituency office and (c) elsewhere in his Department but working personally for him; if he will outline (1) the number, if any, working for him under consultancy agreements or contracts and (2) the salary level or fees payable in each case; and if he will list the names of the people in each case.

Minister for Health (Dr. O'Connell): My personal staff are all employed on a full-time basis and are located in both my private and constituency offices. There are no consultancy or contract staff working for me on a personal basis. The staff [1787] of the above mentioned offices are listed by grade as follows:
