222. Mr. Belton asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding group water schemes for [1716] County Longford; and when he expects them to be cleared.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Smith): Work is progressing on one group scheme in County Longford. Some three other schemes are at an advanced stage of planning and a larger number are at earlier stages of processing. I cannot say at this time when these may be approved.
