41. Mr. Garland asked the Minister for the Marine if he will outline the legislation which is in place, including any EC Directives to govern fish farming.

Minister for the Marine (Dr. Woods): My statutory powers in relation to fish farming derive from the Fisheries Acts, 1959 and 1980 and the Foreshore Act, 1933.
