135. Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give details of the criteria laid down by his Department regarding driving schools and the use of their own signs on the top of cars; [1429] if it is in order for driving schools to place these signs on client's cars while they are undergoing driving lessons; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Wilson): There are no statutory controls on the operations of driving schools and, consequently, no specific controls on the display of signs.
