157. Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education if she will ensure that a general purpose room is provided for the new girls school, Dunmore East, County Waterford.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): I recently had the pleasure of performing the official opening of the new national school for Dunmore East Convent, County Waterford. The school was provided on the basis of my current policy of concentrating the available capital on classroom accommodation and other essential facilities. The project proceeded on this understanding.
