41. Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications whether he has any proposals to encourage the development on holiday cottage schemes; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications (Mr. S. Brennan): There has been significant growth in this type of accommodation in recent years. I have no plans at present to introduce any new incentives for holiday cottage scheme developments.
