Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if any studies have been commissioned by the board of Aer Rianta into the privatisation of any part of their services; if he will outline his policy in relation to the retention of the company in public ownership; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications (Mr. S. Brennan): No studies have been commissioned by the board of Aer Rianta into the privatisation of any part of their services. I have no plans for the privatisation of the company.
