13. Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if he will outline the total number of passengers who disembarked at (1) Shannon Airport and (2) Dublin Airport from 1 January 1991 to 30 June 1991.

Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications (Mr. S. Brennan): The information requested by the Deputy is as follows: Shannon Airport — 171,781; Dublin Airport — 1,096,621.

I presume the Deputy is particularly interested in North American traffic. For your information, the number of North American passengers who disembarked at Shannon and Dublin Airports in the first six months of 1991 were 54,054 and 51,578, respectively.
