Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education the number of unauthorised departures from Trinity House, Lusk, County Dublin, since September 1989. Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke) Mary O'Rourke Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): In the period since September 1989, there were five incidents of absconding from Trinity House, Oberstown, Lusk, County Dublin, involving ten residential pupils. In the same period, there were ten other incidents involving 16 boys who absconded while on authorised outings from the school. Mrs. Owen Mrs. Owen 245. Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Education if she will give a full report on the unauthorised departure of an inmate of Trinity House, Lusk, County Dublin, and the subsequent stabbing of a staff member.
