242. Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education when construction of the proposed new regional technical college at Tallaght, Dublin 24, will begin; when a principal will be appointed; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): Construction work on the regional technical college at Tallaght has already commenced.

A decision will be taken in due course on the timing of appointment of the principal.
