Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Education if she has received a report on suitable temporary accommodation on Arranmore Island, County Donegal for a post primary school; if so, the recommendations of the report; whether it is intended to sanction a temporary school for September 1990; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): A report has been received from my Department's architect regarding the buildings on Arranmore Island, which County Donegal VEC proposed as temporary post-primary school accommodation.

The architect's report is under consideration at present and a decision will be taken when all aspects of the matter have been carefully examined.
