99. Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education if she will review the position relating to an appointment of a teacher (details supplied) to a school (details supplied) in County Meath; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Education (Mrs. O'Rourke): The question as to whether the 13th assistant teacher post in the school referred to by the Deputy can be made permanent is under consideration in my Department at present. A decision will be conveyed to the school authorities as soon as possible.
