Written Answers. - Military Aircraft Refused Permission to Overfly State.

76. Mr. Sherlock asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will list the nationality of the 20 military aircraft which were refused permission to overfly the State during the past ten years.

Minister for Foreign Affairs (Mr. Lenihan): Authorisation to fly over the State has been refused on occasions to foreign military aircraft of Australia, Israel, Denmark, France, the USA and the United Arab Emirartes. The number of authorisations refused in the past ten years adds up to 20.
