55. Mr. Desmond asked the Minister for Health the 1988 yield to the hospital budgets of the increase of 20 per cent in hospital canteen charges from 1 January 1988.

Minister for Health (Dr. O'Hanlon): The benefit to health agencies of the 20 per cent increase in canteen charges will be about £1 million in 1988.
