749. Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Education when Departmental sanction will be given to the appointment of a person (details supplied) in County Louth who has been appointed a teacher by the VEC.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): The necessary documentation in relation to this appointment by the Town of Drogheda Vocational Education Committee has not yet been received in my Department. Sanction for the appointment will be considered as soon as the documentation is received.
