572. Mr. J. Fahey asked the Minister for Education when work is likely to commence on Ballinameela national school, County Waterford.

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey) Gemma Hussey

Minister for Education (Mrs. Hussey): Satisfactory title to the site extention required to facilitate the extension to Whitechurch national school, Ballinameela, County Waterford has yet to be established. This appears to depend on the registration of certain documents in the Land Registry. A grant will be sanction by my Department when this matter is resolved, subject to agreement being reached regarding the local contribution.

At this stage it is not possible to say when work on the extension will commence.
