Written Answers. - County Tipperary Welfare Homes.

358. Mr. S. Byrne asked the Minister for Health when the welfare home at Morton Street, Clonmel, County Tipperary, will be officially opened.

Minister for Health (Mr. B. Desmond): It is a matter for the health board to determine when the official opening will take place. I understand that the subject will be decided upon at the November meeting of the board.

359. Mr. S. Byrne asked the Minister for Health when a welfare home will be provided at Carrick-on-Suir, County Tipperary, as a site has already been provided by the South Eastern Health Board; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Health (Mr. B. Desmond): I have not received any proposals from the South-Eastern Health Board for the provision of a welfare home in Carrick-on-Suir.
