641. Mr. J. O'Leary asked the Minister for Finance if he will confirm that the lands purchased in Muckross Road, Killarney, County Kerry, for the proposed decentralised office of the Department of Justice will not be sold; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Minister for Finance (Mr. Dukes): As announced in the Principal Features of the Budget presented on 9 February 1983 the decentralisation programme has been cancelled. As the lands purchased at Muckross Road, Killarney, are not now required for that purpose, the future use of the lands is being examined.
