571. Mr. N. Andrews asked the Minister for the Environment if he will reconsider making the necessary finances available to Dublin County Library Committee to provide a library service at the Nutgrove Shopping Complex at Rathfarnham, Dublin 16.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. Spring): My Department have received no proposals from Dublin County Council for the provision of library facilities at the Nutgrove Shopping Complex, Rathfarnham.

I recently approved of the plans and tender for a library at Ballyroan, Rathfarnham, and sanction for the raising of a loan for that scheme will be considered in the current year.
