275. Mr. Kitt asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (Mr. Cooney): Within the next two months or so. The cable was found to be faulty at the installation stage. This will have attention and service will be provided as soon as possible.

An offer to refund the advance payments until such time as service can be provided is being made. Acceptance of [285] this offer will not in any way add to the time taken to instal the telephone.
