251. Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for the Environment when the sewerage scheme for Ballybay, County Monaghan will be implemented.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. P. Barry): Contract documents for the civil works and mechanical plant contracts, and tenders for the mechanical plant contract are under consideration in my Department. I am not at present in a position to indicate when a decision thereon may issue to the local authority.

252. Mr. G. Collins asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make a statement on the present position in relation to the sanction by his Department of contract documents forwarded by Limerick County Council for an improved sewerage scheme in Abbeyfeale.

Minister for the Environment (Mr. P. Barry): Contract documents for the Abbeyfeale sewerage improvement scheme are under consideration in my Department. I am not at present in a position to say when approval will issue to the local authority.
