Mr. Donnellan asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the unrest that exists among parents at Shanafarahan/Finney P.O., County Galway in respect of the school transport pick-up point for their children; if he will have the matter investigated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Education (Mr. Wilson) John P. Wilson 2502 Minister for Education (Mr. Wilson): I am assuming that the Deputy is referring to the service to Tourmakeady [2502] Post-Primary centre which caters for girls from the Shanafarahan area. I am satisfied that the standard of the service available to the pupils in the area in question is generally adequate and in accordance with that normally applicable in the case of the post-primary transport scheme as a whole.
